Madison Gospel 5k Foundation made the Channel 27 news on July 20th during their 1st Annual Run.

Some runners and walkers hit the pavement on the south side of Madison Saturday morning.  The Madison Gospel 5K run-walk took off from Penn Park.  This is the first year of the event, put on by SSM Health and the Madison Gospel 5K Foundation.  Organizers hope the race turns into a yearly tradition to raise money for mental health.
